Made from New Zealand Radiata Pine, this bottom board features 10mm (3/8’’) risers for bee entry and H4 pressure-treated cleats designed for up to 40 years of rot resistance. Kiln-dried to 12% moisture content, it resists warping and is free from Blue Sapstain. Ideal for commercial and hobbyist beekeepers, it provides a stable foundation for 10-frame hives in harsh weather conditions.
Assemble with double rebated board in the middle and single rebate board on the edges using galvanised screws or nails.

Alliance uses New Zealand Radiata lumber which is a lot more stronger and durable than widely used white pine. Our lumber has the straightest grains which offer super strength and its less prone to slitting/cracking while assembly.
