Product Description

Made from 7/8″ thick New Zealand Prowood Radiata Pine, these rebated boxes have minimal end grains. Kiln-dried to 12% moisture content in our special seasoning kilns Alliance boxes provide stability and great resistance to shrinking, twisting and warping.
Standard grade boxes contain tight knots which guarantee the integrity of the hive at an affordable price.
There is always clearance between the knot and the edge of the box, removing any risk of edge cracking or fallout, and knots are kept away from the middle of the handle to maintain the utmost strength.

When unassembled store in a dry area away from direct sunlight to ensure easy assembly. To preserve and increase durability you can wax dip or paint the boxes. For the best result boxes can be wax dipped & painted to obtain maximum lifespan.
